120th Locke Family Association Reunion

Honoring Locke Women

Spend the Weekend With Your Family in Finger Lakes Region,
Geneva & Seneca Falls, New York
Friday July 30 through Sunday August 1, 2010

Honoring Locke Women

Last year LFA gave back to the community by extending our annual reunion with free Genealogy Workshops at the Rye Library. This year on Friday we will be joining the Geneva Public Library. These workshops are FREE and open to the public and Locke Reunion Attendees.

Friday afternoon, continue to enjoy the Genealogy Workshops or ride the Locke Family bus tour of 4 wineries and micro brewery. You will see beautiful views, gift shops and of course wine tasting!

Saturday morning is our Association Business Meeting with a concurrent bocci ball tournament and other games for those not interested in attending the formal meeting. A tent will be set up all day at the Seneca Lake State Park for those who want to forego the Museum Tour and do their own thing. There are ball fields, playgrounds, splash park and boating opportunities.

This is also in the heart of Mennonite communities. Weaver-View Farms is down the road from Geneva and offers a large country store catering to quilting and other country crafts. Sundays they are closed, so plan your shopping accordingly.

Saturday afternoon we have a free tour set up at the National Museum Women's Hall of Fame. Saturday dinner will be a BBQ and guitar music under the tent.

Sunday Morning "Til We Meet Again" will be the passing of wreaths to be brought back to the Rye, NH cemeteries to honor our Locke Family Forefathers.

As you can see, we have planned a fun packed weekend that appeals to all ages. Young families will want to make this their summer vacation. There are many camping locations, parks and of course lake activities. The Finger Lakes Region of NY is a popular summer vacation destination.

This year's reunion meeting will be held at:
Ramada Geneva Lakefront
41 Lakefront Dr. (Rts. 5&20)
Geneva, NY 14456
1-800-990-0907
