117th Locke Family Association Reunion

Family Fun Weekend in Historic Concord and Lexington Massachusetts

Friday, August 3, through Sunday, August 5, 2007

Lockes in History

Did you know that members of the Locke Family were present at the start of the American Revolution?

Our cousin, Ebenezer responded to the alarm that the "British are coming!" Hearing shots coming from the Lexington Green, he and his cousin, Amos, rushed over to see the British and found the body of their neighbor, Asahel Porter. Ebenezer Locke took aim and fired at the British. Could this have been the famous "Shot heard around the world?"

Discover your heritage and make this year's reunion the best ever!

The Locke Family Association has changed the date and location to accommodate family summer vacations. And what better way to build family memories than by taking your family to an American Revolution Site and by introducing them to relatives from all over the country?

There is so much to do:

  • Camping
  • Mountains
  • Seashore
  • Museums galore!
  • Take the train into Boston

Spread the word through your immediate family and plan your own mini reunions!
