Jerry Harrison

Jerry Harrison's site covers information on 15,000 descendants of William Locke's sons James and Ebenezer. Ebenezer's son, Ebenezer, was the first minuteman to return the fire of the British army at the historic battle of Lexington and Concord ("The shot heard round the world").

The New Hampshire Historical Society contains many items from New Hampshire's past including Captain John Locke's sword which he used as Captain of the local Militia. They also have the sickle he used to try and defend himself against the Indians who killed him.

The website of the New England Historic Genealogical Society, the nation's oldest and largest genealogical society. One of the country's richest sources on family history, with particular emphasis on local family history. Excellent for genealogists.
